Learning the numbers:

To begin each
practice session, place the mouse pointer into the practice box and left
click. The backspace key should not be used
to correct errors since checking our keyboard accuracy is the
main goal. Press
the Enter key (right little finger)
to move the cursor to the next line. Always practice without looking at the keys.
Keep your hands on the home row
keys throughout the number lessons. The correct finger for typing each
number will be referenced to the home row keys. Avoid moving your hands
to the number row - reach from the home row to type each number.

up straight - YOUR back against back of chair - both feet
flat on the floor
LEFT index
finger on the letter F
RIGHT index
finger on the letter J
Keep
fingers curved with palms raised -- palms should
not be touching desktop
Keep eyes on the screen as you type -- not on the keys

To type each number, reach
from home row keys to the number row
Keep
F and J fingers on the keys
- rotate either hand to type a number
